 I was lucky enough to have some old high contrast paper for this image which MADE the solarization work so well… The really interesting bit about this image though is where it was taken. Image created at a long gone cafe on Valencia Street; The Solar Cafe. One really had to enjoy hanging out at ...  Locke, an historic town on the Sacramento River… This town is all about doors and building methods long gone…  Tech-Pan pushed three stops to force contrast. Tortured silver Lith Development. NO toning… this is the print… |
